Renowned Nigerian pastor and gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey has been invited to lead a worship session at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on January 20, 2025, in Washington, D.C.

The prayer breakfast, a non-political and non-governmental event, will be hosted by Reverend Merrie Turner ahead of the official swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Donald J. Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance.

This marks another milestone in Nathaniel Bassey’s global ministry journey. In 2024, he received significant recognition in the United States when the Mayor of Albany, New York, officially proclaimed October 6 as “Pastor Nathaniel Bassey Day” in honor of his spiritual and musical contributions.
